- Ken Galeai, Ph.D
Dr. Galea'i holds two graduate degrees and a doctorate in Rehabilitation. His qualifications include a research background
and extensive experience in the field of rehabilitation. First Samoan with formal doctoral training in rehabilitation. He
served as the Assistant Director and Director of the American Samoa Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. He worked in
the field of corrections in Hawaii and is a graduate of BYU-Hawaii. He is the former Director of the Region VIII RCEP. He
has been actively involved in rehabilitation within the Pacific Basin for over 15 years. In addition he has served as a research
associate with a RRTC at the World Institute on Disability.
- Jeanette Losi Vasai Tilo, M.A. cfy-slp
Ms. Tilo is currently completing her CFY requirements for her Certificate of Clinical Competence in the area of Speech
Language Pathology. She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and received her Master of Arts in Speech
Language Pathology. At the time she was awarded her degree, she was the only individual of Samoan ancestry pursuing a degree
in this field as featured in the ASHA (American Speech - Language- Hearing Association) Perspectives Fall 1992 issue.
